Happy Teacher's Day

A few of my students told me "Happy Teacher's Day" early because they knew they would not see me on the actual day which is today. Today there was a special presentation and my students invited me to come, they sang songs, read poems and played games. Some students would give a short speech and then hugged me after the presentation.

I received flowers, balloons, cards, cake and notes- one class sent flowers for me with another teacher and a message saying "I know you don't teach this class but Happy Teacher's Day"- then some students said "Teacher's Day is only one day of the year but I love you everyday!"

It was really sweet, children emote alot more that older Chinese people do so while I could not understand some of the Chinese words, their expressions said it all! Then there was this one kid, I'm not quite sure of if its a boy or girl because of shim's haircut; but shim was very expressive, either a real drama queen/king or next actor!
