Forget trains and buses, give me a Mamu!

This is my source of public transportation, decipher what you will from the picture. I guess the easiest way to describe it is that it is a 3 wheeled motorcycle with a covering to mimick the image of a car. It is loads of fun to ride on and you feel every single bump in the street. Its costs less than US 50 cents to ride a mamu and it goes short distances, maybe as much as a 30 minute walk, no sorry can't take this to the airport!!!

They are usually brightly colored like green, red or blue with no code, its not like the color defines a route so you cant say "oh take the red one to the post office!"-- sorry, no such system.

Oh and best of all, while the streets are marked to direct traffic, mamus are not intimidated by its size. A mamu will try to push its way pass a regular car and will definitely go the opposite of oncoming traffic straight up a one way...no fear here!
