Woke up at the crack of dawn to meet some of the old kids from my school to have studies with them. Wenormally meet at 2 pm once a month on Sundays but they had a change in schedule for school so we met them at 8am in McDonalds. Normally we take a bus on a very bumpy road that takes forever because we stop every two seconds. While approaching the ticketing station to purchase or 17RMB tickets, a cab driver yelle out that he would take us for 20 RMB each if we wanted. Normally a taxi costs between 150-200RMB to go to Yichang so we were like yes, a day of favor!
So we got ther early had a study with the kids and there was a new kid, who seemed pretty receptive. Later we went for our adult fellowship and I met 8 new people- 5 of them came to teach and ended up staying because they met people who were really hungry for the gospel and 3 were indians who left India to study medicine in China; so it was about 16 of us; then we went to lunch.
About 2 pm, we decided to head back but Jinjing (Mira) had some errands to run so I told Mary and Jenn I would go home with Jinjing and meet them later. We went shopping- yes she is the Chinese version of me, we really get along well and have the same interests and opinions. On our way back, she expressed to me that she was really happy that I came to China and she wished I had come 5 years earlier. She was really excited and then she kissed my hand and said "I am really happy you came"
She was still holding my hand- for a while after...later we were talking about something and I said, "you know I'm Gods favorite child, right" and she let my hand go and said "yes I know and I jealous you because He gave you the beautiful eyes and everything else" then I burst out laughing, corrected the english and she held my hand again.
Then she told me more about her boyfriend and said that there is a plan for me....
