DC Sherv!

Went to the Museum of Modert Art (MOMA) with my brother, Sherv

One thing I really missed: meaningful conversations. We spoke about everything from idiosyncrasies in different cities and countries; about the ability to observe and state without being judgmental (or maybe I got accused abt the inability to do so :). We spoke about how much time the average feamle adoloscent spends just waiting- not planning and being open to changes in their lives or as Sherv calls them "distractions" but just merely waiting for "this person" to make forward steps. A lot of the planning that actually gets done, includes this mystery person and a lot of the planning ends after said person is discovered.

Ladies, step up- and as much as I hate the sound of these two words "do you!" Be clear, this is not to say that you cant prepare to be a wife or mother but do not be so preoccupied with the future that you miss out on the present. Make your five year plan- that's great; but what's your plan for today?

True happiness is…to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future.--Seneca
Yesterday is a canceled check; tomorrow is a promissory note; today is the only cash you have. Spend it wisely.--Anonymous
Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.--Bil Keane

Love you Sherv!!!
